Spring Update

Krav Maga Update:

Saturday 18th April Class Kensington. A few rumours have circulated that this class is cancelled - it's NOT and I look forward to seeing those of you who are keen to train & possibly grade this Saturday. It maybe in a different hall, possibly the sports hall, but either way it is still on.

Chief Instructor Training For Gap Year Survival Course. As you know self defence is an all encompassing subject that does not simply stop & start with training at a dojo or similar environment. You have to be prepared for any eventuality and within this I decided to sign up to a brilliant advanced bushcraft course run by 2 very knowledgeable instructors, namely: John & Phil at www.woodcraftschool.co.uk.

John & Phil taught our group lots of useful stuff such as fire by friction, water purification methods, plant and tree identification & use, making cordage & building a shelter from whatever materials were available to use in the woods (as you can see from my 5 star accom picture to the left & below ;-) & more. A brilliant course and great way for you to prepare for any wild camping trips you maybe planning. This was all in preparation for the Gap Year Survival Course which will have it's debut course on Friday 15th May.

Budding Film Stars. Over the next few months, I am putting together some training videos for the school which will be shot at a studio in Maida Vale, London. I am therefore looking for students & instructors who would like to take part in this. If this interests you and you see yourself as a future Krav model then please email: info@krav-maga.org.uk and let me know the dates you can be available. However, remember, you must be as photogenic as I am  ;-)

5 Day Intensive Course. The next 5 day intensive will be running Saturday 25th April 2015 to Wednesday 29th April 2015. This course is also open to present school students and is especially beneficial to students who would like to accelerate themselves through to yellow belt. Promo Video & Sign Up Here..

Kit Issue. Trainee instructor Stephen William is now in charge of kit issue for new students. If you are missing kit or have not yet been issued your kit entitlement please address your issue to him. He will be at tonights's class with kit ready to issue.

For now

John

Chief Instructor

The British Academy of Krav Maga
